ORIGINALLY BUILT IN 1930, ON A PIER OVER THE WATER, THE CYCLONE RACER WAS THE UNDISPUTED KING OF WOODED ROLLER COASTERS FOR 38 YEARS.  UNTIL NOW THERE HAS NEVER BEEN AN ATTEMPT TO RECREATE THIS IMPRESSIVE CLASSIC.  A METICULOUS  EFFORT HAS BEEN MADE TO ENSURE EVERY DETAIL CLONES THE ORIGINAL.  WE WANTED THE SUPERSTRUCTURE TO HAVE THE SAME FLEX AS THE ORIGINAL SO EVERY BENT HAS BEEN DRAWN DETAILING THE ORIGINAL X BRACE SCHEME.   THE ORIGINAL DESIGN INCORPORATES A PRECISION MATCH BETWEEN THE TRAINS AND TRACK.   SO PRECISE, YOU CAN SAY IT'S TUNED LIKE A STRADIVARIUS.  THE COASTER DOES NOT INCORPORATE TRIM BRAKING LIKE MODERN DESIGNS, SIMPLY BECAUSE IT DOESN'T NEED IT.  TRAIN SPEED IS REGULATED BY PRECISION TRACK HEIGHT NOT ALLOWING ANY DOWN HILL ACCELERATIONS FASTER THAN GRAVITY.  THIS DESIRABLE EFFECT CREATES PLENTY OF AIR TIME WITHOUT PULLING YOU OUT OF THE CAR.  OUR TRACK DYNAMICS PROGRAM SHOWS HOW THE TRACK PLAN ACHIEVES THIS USING A  PERFECT BALANCE  BETWEEN WHEEL ROLLER FRICTION,  TRACK HEIGHT AND DYNAMIC BANKING .  THE BALANCE BETWEEN TRACK 1 AND TRACK 2 OFFERS AN EXCITING RACE AS THE TRAINS ALTERNATELY GAIN THE LEAD IN THE CURVES.  COMPUTER RIDE EMULATION SHOWS RUNNING BOTH TRAINS WITH THE SAME WEIGHT, TRACK 1 IS ABOUT 1 SECOND FASTER.  YOU MUST KEEP IN MIND ALL THIS PRECISION WAS DESIGNED IN THE LATE TWENTIES WITH NO COMPUTER!
